My "office hours" in the Sociology department

As part of outreach to students and faculty, I will be spending as "office hours" in the Sociology Department this semester.

Weds 2-3pm
Thurs 2-3pm

I will start next week on Weds 9/16.

I will have a laptop to answer questions and will set up shop in some place still to be determined. You might just see me wandering the halls!

If you see me, say hi!

Faculty Delivery of Books and Articles

In case you weren't already aware:

In addition to book delivery, Albertsons Library will make copies of locally held journal articles, print or micorforms, and send them to faculty. They need only fill out an ILL request form. The ILL form is available here: http://library.boisestate.edu/ILL/

Library Resources Guides

I apologize for the delay in updating this site. Busy, busy, busy - as I am sure you all are.

If you haven't heard about these already, the library has developed new online resource guides for most subject areas.

All guides can be viewed from here: http://guides.boisestate.edu/

The specific guide for Sociology can be viewed here: http://guides.boisestate.edu/sociology

Please feel free to link to these for your classes. Let me know if you would like any changes to be made or if you would like me to create one for your specifc course.

New Online Course Reserves Form

Need to put something on Reserves for your students? Well, Albertsons Library has made it easier with its new online Reserve Request Form.

Check it out here: http://library.boisestate.edu/circulation/ReserveRequestForm.htm

If you run into problems or have questions, please let me know.
